Jada

Let’s introduce you to our Klee Kai Jada (Jay-da). She was born on the 16th May 2008 and is growing up fast. We got her when she was seven weeks and she was a bundle of joy. So tiny and mischievous and a little confused. She came from the Atlanta countryside straight to New York City where we live. The lights, buildings, people, cars, horns, sirens never once made her flinch though, she is a very brave little Klee Kai.

Jada became an instant celebrity in the city. Everyone has questions: What is she? Where did she come from? Is that a husky puppy? Is that a fox? Is that a Wolf? How old is she? How big will she get? Is that a miniature husky? Can I have her? No of course not! Although my husband did receive a proposal from one woman… but that’s another story.

Preparing to enlist herself at the ripe age of 3 months Jada's first trip to the beach was at around 5 months. at 6 months of age Jada was focussing heavily on being cute! Jada all covered in grass! Here she's only a few months old

So when we return to Australia some day, we are expecting the same response on the street, especially as, we believe, Jada will be one of the first Alaskan Klee Kai's to hit Aussie shores.

Jada is a miniature at 7kg, she stands at 14.5 inches tall.
